Hey guys
I'm gonna need to replace my floor soon and so have been asking around. Apparently Nema board is "the way to go". It's much more resilient than marine ply according to the sales pitch and it's a fair bit lighter. Can't offer any more on the subject but it might be worth looking into..

i thought people were just redoing their floors with carpeted ally plate now so it never needs to be done again

I also need to replace some boat floor that broke as I stepped off the jetty at Kai's (1 beer only OK) ;-)

Googled Nema board and then also searched on this forum and the consensus appears to be that
Nema is good but expands/warps in the heat and contracts in the cold??

So yeah I'll appreciate all feedback from this post too
Cheers

Sy give Jeffish a buzz.. he's in the timber game, and done a floor or two.

You could put in one of those inlaid teak decks - might weigh a fair bit, and cost quite a lot, but would bling up a tinnie nicely!

Thanks for the great tips jeffish. I've got a small section that's failed and will follow your advice.
