Nice to hear from you kimberlite been a while have you been on any trips?. I just have no luck with those pumps by the sounds of it. They are for salt water mounted vertical, motor up, swathed in denso tape with strainers I don't flush em out but could easily do so through the scoop. I will see how the Johnson goes.

Hey AM Bummer about the pumps sounds like you have done all you can.

Been a bit quiet of late and no... no trips. Got divorced and the enemy got the boat!!! Might have to change my avatar to just a pic of an empty marina berth!! Lot quieter around here though!

So AM I've read this thread a few times now over the last 12 months, how did the Johnson hold up? I'm wanting to fit a deck wash into my boat in the next week or two.

Bummer for you and bummer for me, I bought a Johnson yesterday... Have you pulled it apart? Someone said the pressure switch goes, it looks like a two dollar part from jaycar.
