Re: Battery Chargers
Change your mind about what to buy Blinky?
One minute its a megacycle AGM which is a marine battery.
http://www.exide.com/aw/en/product-solu ... ation.aspx
About halfway down the list is the Megacycle 200. Look at the bottom left sticker on the battery. Marine/RV.
Next thing you haven't bought one of them at all.
Now you reckon you've bought a MSDC Stowaway deep cycle which is supposed to have been rebadged into a Megacycle 200. Believe in fairies next.
The Exide MSDC is indeed a good deep cycle but the Megacycle isn't.
Wasn't born yesterday Blinky.

Obviously you were born yesterday you believe everything you read on the internet.......
So I haven't bought a MSDC31 eh, have a look at the attached image, if you wish to carry on like a dickhead, I'll go out and take another photo showing the Megacycle badge on it.
Climb down off your high horse before you fall off.

If you look up "pole smoker" in the dictionary there would be a picture of this tool.
Apparently he can't see my posts...all good. Question is how the hell do I make it so I can't read his?

Re: Battery Chargers
Does this sum it up?
Narcissism
An obvious self-focus in interpersonal exchanges
Problems in sustaining satisfying relationships
A lack of psychological awareness (see insight in psychology and psychiatry, egosyntonic)
Difficulty with empathy
Problems distinguishing the self from others (see narcissism and boundaries)
Hypersensitivity to any insults or imagined insults (see criticism and narcissists, narcissistic rage and narcissistic injury)
Vulnerability to shame rather than guilt
Haughty body language
Flattery towards people who admire and affirm them (narcissistic supply)
Detesting those who do not admire them (narcissistic abuse)
Using other people without considering the cost of doing so
Pretending to be more important than they really are
Bragging (subtly but persistently) and exaggerating their achievements
Claiming to be an "expert" at many things
Inability to view the world from the perspective of other people
Denial of remorse and gratitude

Re: Battery Chargers
Yeah Sy, I'm going to return the Minn Kota tomorrow, the "charging" light remains on all the time, it's still under warranty. I'll go get a C-Tek.

Re: Battery Chargers
I'm only disagreeing with you Blinky. Not trying to steal your crown jewels.
A battery that that is constructed as a deep cycle and then rebadged as a marine. Rubbish.
A marine battery and a deep cycle battery have differences in internal construction. Go get a couple of old ones from your mate, cut the top off each type and have a look. You might learn something. I've done that a few times to see for myself.
Been playing around with batteries long before the internet came along. Its useful but there's nothing like finding out hands-on. Somewhere here, I've got a photo of a starting battery that I cut the top off recently. It had been misused in a deep cycle application. Useful to see what misuse can do to the internals.
I don't know what you've bought. I don't think you do either. It might be 1 or it might be the other. But it won't be both.
As long as you're happy with it is all that matters.
Depends if they're deep cycle or marine AAAs Graham.
