Thank for the comment, and yes that is what I thought, but I am far from being an expert in this kind of thing...

East Point Equestrian Club has had the worst of it, the biggest trees down, stables damaged, fences wrecked.
Who planted all the mahogany trees in Darwin
Apparently rosewoods are the same, pays to keep them well pruned.
Was a fair bit of water over the road at Lake Alexander at high tide during the storm, might have been a combo of tidal surge/floodwater from the creek behind.

Hi all,
Some pics taken today at the Fannie Bay Equestrian Club at East Point. It was trashed, huge African Mahogany trees down everywhere, with one pulverising a horse float Luckily no people or horses were hurt.

Here are a few pics from Wangi Falls I took this morning, I could not get too close as it is flowing hard, the noise is pretty amazing. Been like this since Monday. Wangi Creek been hovering around the metre to 800mm all week. The Finniss River Bridge has been over by a fair amount and still is as far as I know.
Should have enough beers here the water goes down a bit more

We had a stand of Fishtails fall on our deck, was in the lounge at the time and didn't feel it, they must have just leaned over slowly and rested on the gutter. Not too much damage, but took all yesterday to clean up!! All good we got off lightly I reckon.

yep, not sure if anyone has noticed but there are heaps of little cane toads around at the moment, 2-3cm models. Bit harder to get hold of with the 7 iron and hit back into the park lol! Must be hatching!!
