Brad and I just got back from the Perons. Yes the wind is up but the water is not too bad with waves averaging 1m this am between perons and the boat ramp. Max height probably about 1.5m. It was really only choppy going over the reef about 20k from the boat ramp. At night it calmed right down about 5pm then picked up again in the morning...but quite comfortable for fishing. Guess it would be a bit rougher out at sail city...

Was it worth the slow trip? Yep. Bagged out on monster goldies, trickies, bluebone. Will post some pics when I get 5 minutes...gotta go and figure out how to fit tonights goldie in the oven lol!!! Thanks Brad!!

Oh yeah...boat is 6.5m
anything under 5m would find it hard wrk unless they stick to the coast...
