how heavy ...

Post by CelticMale35 »

Well we didnt have any scales big enough to weigh it so we got my fishing mates very tiny wife to stand on the bathroom scales weighed her and then unceramoniously dumped the fish smack bang in her arms and subtracted the total from her first attempt and wound up with around 38kg unconfirmed as it was an old set of digital scales my misses had hidden in the bathroom at home ... on the end of 10kg mono though she felt like about 100 neat and unfortunately bye the time i managed to man handle her to the boat she wouldnt swim much after that so we slabbed her and invited half the street and our respective shift crews around to bbq it out the back ...as a general rule i dont eat a lot of fish but after a dozen beers and a long day on the water it was fantastic to lay into a large slab of fresh mackie wth some garlic salt and lime juice on ....*sigh* ...its got to be criminal i mean surely something that makes you feel that good cant be leagle hehehehe.
