Hit the water at sun up with Melv hoping to snag a few baz and a few and enjoy the peace & quiet.
Give all the runoffs a go over on the way down with Melv dropping a few, and me so far along for the ride Flogged all the likely places to foam until Melv latched onto a nice toga in some heavy timber but won the battle and put us on the board.
Ended up parking the boat and walking the barrage and flicking the floodplain runoffs and finally found a bit of action with a couple of barra & sooties, with Melv setting the pace Scenic country but creepy walking around the area.
Finally snagged myself a fish on the way home just before the storms set in and the heavens opened up.
Top day on the water and a few fish just make it better.

Congrats on the fish Ernie and Melv...the water levels have really dropped quite severely. A month or so ago a mate of mine was out there and the water was 1-2 metres under the bridge
Hope we get some more top up rain before the dry
That sunrise pic is nice

i fished all day sunday at bridge lagoon also, very very very very very zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz quiet fishing wise. Very pretty place to go for a fish and beat the crowds, but ill rephrase that go for a boat.
We got one fish for the day, tried all the barages all the over flows, the thick timber at the top end, even tried a bit in red lilly, some monster crocs lurking about and some really good potential looking run offs but ONE FISH. ah well none the less it was still a good day with beer on board.
