Had a great day fishing on sunday and hooked a good range of fish. May need to look at using a leader heavier than cheap 35lb line. Still I do hook alot of fish. Its just that loosing the big ones can get frustrating, and you never know how big a fish can be hiding behind a small stick.

A 70 is still a nice fish

here is my 58cm swampy from up Clear Creek on the Daly on the weekend. landed another bigger one, 63cm, but thought we would get some bigger ones for the rest of the trip so didnt measure that one and only measured the first fish. :banghead:

hopefully find an upgrade before the month is out.

Managed to sneak in a small upgrade after a trip out from Shady yesterday.
Doing a trolling run with a purple Bling Classic tied on the end. Was feeling the pinch after a 1am alarm wake up so just had the rod in the holder and may have been catching a little shut eye  ....Woke up to line peeling off the Curado and the skipper saying "That's a good fish". After a few good runs and a bit of a song and dance around the boat skip netted the big girl who went 96cm.
