Tried out a few in the berry springs area this arvo all the ones I stopped at only had tiny bait : rainbows small shrimp etc.

Had a few boofs on the fizzer afer 9pm but no luck staying connected today.

Me and my dad did a run through kakadu tried magela and we each got a Barra about 50-55cm couldn't cross as water level rose and dropped from about 1.8 to 1.4. Tried three bridges and only got a couple tarpon also gave the culverts near the ranger mine a go and a got a nice toga from under the road lost a good Barra in the same place. Tried south alligator culvert plenty of mullet bit not enough water or fish also a large tree down there that will be very annoying for anyone trying flick onto the downside of the culvert. Had a go at lots of other culverts on the way home with nothing else at all. Think we need a bit more rain to open up the plains and let the fish into the rivers.
