hey all

Went for a look at the barrage Saturday. arrived to a couple of people getting into some fish.
the barrage had the most flow i have seen it this wet but was still pretty p..s poor.
water clarity wasn't great, almost a coke colour. Got a few fish and dropped a few aswell.
Ended up being an alright solo trip out there

Decided to go back on Sunday and as soon as i got out of the car, the smell was bad.
Barra lining the shallows under the trees along with plenty of eel and forktail powertails, bony bream, mullet.....you name it.
foul hooked a barra that was about to flow over the barrage in the low 60's. didn't have much energy and gave up within a few seconds.
heaps of big mullet gulping air on the surface too. Pretty disappointing to see really.

anyways here is a short video of some footage i got. didn't have the balls to walk into the shallows to get video of the barra in there because there was a 4m croc that was hanging around.

P.s sorry about the language and my outrageously loud footsteps

With the amount of dead barra they ATM I don't think it would matter were you clean your fish. I watched a two blokes walking the banks lastnight picking them up and chucking them in the esky. He clean a 60 model at the gate and put it straight on the fry pan. Lol

Might not kill you, but they didn't look very healthy.lol
