World is nuts

Post by Matt Flynn »

People are willing to pay $40 for a USB cable that really should cost $6.

In Sydney Airport they charge $60 for said cable ...

World is nuts.

Feel free to add your own example of current madness ...

I was in a dept store looking for a multi usb hub. They had one for 120, I jokingly said ‘ill give you $20’ he said ‘on no we couldn’t do it for that. Checked the computer and I got it for $25.
someone else might have paid the 120

If there's demand on anything and people will pay they will inflate the price
Same as housing. I built my first home in 1985 for $38,000- that same place now is worth around $400.000 .The wages have not gone up that much. They will keep inflating everything until the consumer stops paying but while there is a demand for something they will keep putting the price up
The past is history, the future is mystery, the moment is a gift and that's why it's called the present
