murray river trip

Post by barra mick »

put the boat in at turrumbarry on the weekend and fished friday and saturday

trolled most of the day for 6 yellowbelly and 4 cod.5 of the yellowbelly were small and released.only one cod was over 60cm and thats in the picture.it was 82cm .

all the fish were caught on a gold and black stumpjumper

i bait fished at night but could only catch carp !!! After a while the scotch took over and i retired for the night..

Good to see the river recovering from the floods 18 months ago
