Flynnie visits the show
Here's a few pix from the Darwin Boat Show - I stayed away from the bar.
Will post some more shortly.

Sorry doggies66 - I was still adding pix, I got plenty of the boat babes. And the best boat babes were at the Polycraft/Tackle World stand
Two barra boats worth looking at were GS Marine's Diablo and the Polycraft "Hulk".
Territory Marine had an awesome overall display and the In and Outboard display of Quinnies was, as usual, excellent.
Honda also had a good turnout care of BH Marine.
Plenty of Barcrushers too ... very nice boats.
I am glad I am not on the market for a boat right now, the confusion would fry my brain.
I've got a real soft spot for the new Polycrafts though - they are now being customised in Darwin by Territory Marine and the old statement "I can't get a Poly laid out how I want it" no longer applies.

yep, i enjoyed the boat show, even if it made me feel slightly inadequate
boats that were highly impressive were
the trophy 2130C
the ocean master p*rn boat
the 7mtr hydra
and number one eye opener
im with you beastie...the GS diablo was quite simply a mind f*ck.
absolutely awesome rig.
and a mention for the job shane compain has done on the 5.3 green 'hulk' poly too...very clever mods.

Here's some more Diablo for you poor slobbering souls. Normal men would have asked for more pictures of the girls
GS Marine has always been good at giving each of their boats an "identity" but this Diablo is yet another step forward.
The Diablo has a shallow V-draft - it's a river barramundi boat that you could ski behind. Or a ski boat you could catch barramundi out of.
Fast. And red. With a nip dispenser. Very politically incorrect. Nice.

Man.... I thought the show was excellent.... My votes went to the very pretty Trophy lineup... The Hulk made me want to put speakers in my tinny. They were playing System of a Down and I was in heaven looking at that fat underfloor esky up the front....
Most of all, they had $1000 off the motor I wanted .... the missus wouldn't let me ..... I responded "I am letting you have a baby?"..... she hit me

Mind f*ck!!!!!!!!..............it's a mind f*ck when you're chortling along at 70 kph and Diablo goes past like your standing still and doesn't even leave a ripple............in the narrowest section of the Daly River..........now that's a mind f*ck!!!!!!!Kevin Kevinson wrote:the GS diablo was quite simply a mind f*ck.
