Hardies lagoon

Post by goldfish »

Road was great fishing but the was pretty average got 3 up to 50 and dropped a good one .... always the way

Arrived to see only the one trailer in the carpark.
Put in and headed down the lagoon stopping a few times on the way to pull a few barra off a favorite snag i was a fair way down the lagoon and was moving spots when i saw that another boat was heading out aswell so three of us out now.

Pulled up the leccy and Flew down to the spot.

Ol mate had beaten me to it. I pulled up anyway and 2min later the last boat out rocked up there too.

Nobody caught bugger all in the time i was there so i left them to it. I moved to the channels at the end of the lagoon using the chainsaw to open up an old track in.

Heaps of barra boofing from 3m back inside the grass edges but not many outside the shelter of it. Mosquitoes were super rediculous so bailed out about 1/2 an hour after dark.

Fish were quite fat and fit and pulled pretty hard for their size heaps of tarpon and longtom and even dropped a small sooty.

How deep was it over the sand bar. Ain't been there for a bit as it has been so low ( and have a bigger boat now.

Also can you get into the grassy top section up the top
