Another Leaders Creek Barra

Post by trent »

Headed out to leaders on Friday morning after checking the weather forecasts with 3-4 knots predicted all day,got to the mouth and they were right so out to some reef around the vernons and chase some goldies.Ended up with 5 nice goldies to 55cm,some scarlet perch, big blue salmon were coming through in waves and of coarse the usual sharks and cod.A storm closed in from the tiwis and bought the wind with it so headed back to leaders to fish the run-in.Started trolling and on the second run hooked a nice barra at 83cm.Once again the green bling classic did the damage.

Gunn Point roads not real flash but good in some sections, just got to slow down a bit but then i didnt see another boat all day until i got back to the ramp.

Nice box of fish for the day Trent.

Sea in the background looks 1000% better than the shite we endured out at Fish Reef/Lorna Shoal yesterday ............ :surf: :sailing:

You couldn't have done it in any other boat. Maybe an 'Extreme Marine', as the new owners are calling it these days.
