G'day guys. I've been browsing on here for sometime now and thought i'd better add something to this great forum.
I'm Victorian born and bred. I fish the top end at least once a year. And fish the summers down here for all our freshwater species. I only reall fish the spring/summer seasons, because i do a lot of deer hunting during the autumn/winter time..
Anyway, here's a few yellowbelly we've been getting in the local dams, Eildon and Hume. I live 10 min from lake Hume, and with it sitting on 99.5% for the last few weeks, the fishing has been out of sight.. Eildon is around 75-80% and the yellas have been going off there, and are of a bigger size than Hume.
Hume yellas..
And some Eildon pigs..

Few more from Eildon. All on the cast, using Jackall LCB's... Cool fun when they're schooling. You get a speedy run after an impressive strike on light tackle..
When they're schooling, its not uncommon to get a couple in the net at once as they chase each other to the boat..

Hope you enjoy the pics. I'm off to Eildon now for a couple of days to fish the rising water levels. Hopefully this warmer weather fires them back up, with the off chance of hooking a decent cod as a bycatch now the season is open..

Don't know of Bowna rock. Only been in Wodonga for around 4 years, so not really a local yet.. The one tree island is just that again, an island!!
Pulled a blank at Eildon last night/this morning. Got a bit lumpy out there this morning ahead of the change, so put my tail between my legs and ran..
