Sh!t day on the water.

Post by goin boating »

Just on hear to have a bit of a whinge and bitch in general about a sh!t day out.

Started off fine launch the boat just before Low tide head over to woods inlet, Drop off 6 Crab pots.

Set up to flick the mouth of a drain.

then all goes pear shaped. Dog faints goes limp just after dropping a bucket of water on him to cool him down so go into first aid mode get the ice out of the esky to cool him down, drown him in vinegar in case a stinger had got him. ice not doing much so up pick and flat stick out of wood inlet back to the ramp at 30knts, get back to the ramp dog seems to be a bit better, load boat on the trailer drive home hose of dog feed him ice cubes, dog improves, call friend to come watch the dog while we go back out and retrieve pots, launch boat, pisses down with rain, head over to woods inlet to collect 6 pots,

pot 1, pull up pot no bait in it cable tie intact. big slash through the pot no crab. I think maybe it was the croc that was eyeing it off that I chased away

Pot 2, pull up pot no bait cable tie in tact, as above except thinking im going to murder a crab thief If I ever find one.

Pot 3, Pull up has bait and only blue swimmers in it this pot was in tact not cut to pieces by some piece of Sh!t MO FO who is going to die.

Pot 4 Same as pots 1 and 2

Pot 5, has bait, cut to pieces and a few swimmers

Pot 6, MIA.

so to sum up I hate crab thieves and will go into a murderous rage if I catch them in the act.

Just had to get that off my chest and if it was you a big S T U F F YOU AND GO AND DIE YOU WASTE OF SPACE G H E R K I N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A good chance no one even checked your pots there is 100 other ways your bait can go missing and have nothing in the pot.

LOL!!!

In all seriousness though - no need for foul language and sentiment in a post... :|

And if the dog was the genuine concern...a vet perhaps?!

Made a couple of edits to original post to make it a bit more child friendly.

Sorry to hear about the pots, seems to be a lot of it going on.

Why are people so cranky these days over a NOTHING event?
I'm guessing that the OP is a young bloke. Going into a ‘murderous rage’ over a few crab pots? Fair dinkum, I'm not taking the p..s but you should consider getting help for that kind of problem. :o
Good on you for returning to help out your dog but first point of call should have been a vet if you were so upset.
If you take anything (or anyone) on the boat that has no say in the matter, make sure you look after them. I have taken my dog on the boat with me for over 14 years and I make sure he has shade and plenty of water all the time.

Latest reports say vinegar may not be a good thing for stinger wounds
