well once again after a few rums watching the origin an the weather beein good me an mark decided that a sickie tomoz would be the best option... up at sparrows on the thursday morning an off we went....hit the water at roughly 530am wit a bit of a hangover..

decided to go to hannahs again for a try... found some nice ground on the sounder... tried it out an got bait fish after bait fish.... with some small liveys on knowlesy finially caught his first decent fish landing a nice mackeral.... ... as time got along we decided to move ground an drift fish over the bommie out there... heaps of small hussey, stripeys, a snapper, an way to many sucker fish...

with roughly an hour till high tide i moved along to man an wife which is about 15-20minutes away to the spot i got lucky last time.... startin slow knowlesy hooked up a nice little what i call a tomatoe cod... (same little black cod lookin fish)... so bang on the line she went an within 10-15 minutes off the line went... another nice trout... 67cm... ... an then bang within seconds of getting line back in the water knowsley is on again catching a smaller trevally....

as time got along the fish went quite still gettin small fish i thought i would test yes CB the old faithfull pinky/purple barra rod out.... floated a full pilley out an after few minutes of she went.... this fish was out of here... using 6pound braid i took it steady and only just pulling it up before it got to nylon wit drag near fully locked... with about 10minute fight i fianially go her to the boat landing a nice size trevally.... after a few inutes rest i thought that was fun rido knowlesy your turn.... an off she went again but this whatever it was, was out of here... off it went drag fully locked as tight as it could be there was no stopping it...trying to slow it down again wit the fingers was not a good idea... that poop burns.... just kept pealing off the line an down to nylon... kept goin down till the knot onto the reel... an snappppppoooo... there goes the line.... whatever that was (thinkin big shark) was not gettin caught...

so out the big line went an only catchin trevally on top an nothin on bottom thought it was good time to head home.... off we went with the seas getting calmer on way home made it a very cruizy tripp....

best sick day ever... an thanks to dad for yet again lettin me borrow the boat....
