Well its the end of an era. I have left the NT to return back to Rockhampton in QLD to be closer to the family. The trip home was pretty good with only one flat tyre pulling us up for a few hours. The boat was packed solid with gear and I would hate to think what it actually weighed. The Prado stood up to the test and returned 5kms/ltr for the trip.
Did waste anytime and had the big girl in the water 2 days after arrival. Hit the Keppel island area and found a few good fish all within 50kms of the boat ramp. Got smashed by a good storm that reminded me of the NT.
Was good to be able to go for a swim and see your feet and not have to worry about getting eatin by something too!!
