Gday all, well i got away again yesterday this time by myself to do some serious fishin (luring), i picked up my electric on wednesday after 3 months getting fixed so thought i should give it a test. I arrived at the boat ramp at about seven oclock to an incoming tide, after unloading the boat i headed down stream trolling as a went, unfortunately didnt get a touch. I pulled up at a very nice looking bank with fallen timber everywhere. I started peppering the snags with a new killalure 2 deadly to test it out, after 15 minutes with out a look i decided the water was still to high for this lure and swapped to my favourite for luring these sort of banks a Richos Lure. Anyway ten minutes later i got wacked and a nice 60cm barra comes to the boat after not much of a fight, for the next few hours i worked this bank pulling another 4 barra, a good flatty (55cm) and a big bream. The life along this bank was awesome had atleast a couple dozen other hits (all Visual), and as many follows from more barra and kingys. As the tide had well and truely turned and nearly getting stuck i went back and tried another bank with a prawnstar where i got a couple more barra, flathead and dropped a few jacks. As it was getting late i tried one more little rock bank in a gully where i got two more barra, then i started the slow idle back to the boat ramp as the tide hadn't turned back by this stage and it was quite shallow. Although none of the barra were monsters i had a ball and am lookin forward to getting back out there and having another go.
Cheers Bisho
