Well its been all over the tv and in the fishing mags, even in the papers about the big fish release from Awoonga dam and metre+ fish being caught and destroying lures at pike's crossing. So I thought what the hell I'd go have crack at them as well. What happened was the best hour session I've ever had while fishing. It had everything from double hook ups to bust ups, to nearly taking out a moored yatch but in the end we pulled out 5 /90cm + barra in 5 trolling runs . With a run rate like that i could play for australia . Pity I had to leave while the bite was still hot, who knows what might have happened!
