I am wanting to do some mods to the tinni, I would like to put a small cast deck at the front and extra rod holders etc, wondering if anyone has a nice litte modified tinni and could put some pics up so I may be able to get some ideas. I also want to put an anchor well in the front , what to you cut it out with eg jigsaw?
Thanks in advance

If ya want, come around and have a look at mine.
Havent got any photos on the computer of it since its completed, i did a story on mine on here somewhere, no real good photos though.
2x20l eskys underfloor, anchor stowed in locker, storage underfloor, for little tinny big casting deck, false floor and level floor for fuel tank.
Still an ongoing thing, PM me and ill organise a date to look at it.
Hi Tinni, I have a 4.2 dory, and use a milk crate for anchor well. I have a mooring float tied in the bottom. Adavntage of this makes coiling rope easier as it goes around float, but main advantage is that if I have to chase a fish, I can throw the whole lot over and come back and collect it later

Wow 2 rods, that is excellent, I think how the switches and epirb are mounted is an excellent idea, might use that for sure from what I have heard the electric is the best thing for fishing flats for barra so the idea of getting a mount up the front for it is a great option as I was stumped as to how to mount one I put a cast deck in over the weekend and an anchor well which has cleard up a heap of room in the little tinni, the false floor is perfect to mount a battery under.
Rhookie, I might just take you up on that, esky mounted under the floor would be nice, even more floor room in the boat, I am just not sure how to PM?????
Matt, your boat is a top rig, can I just buy that off ya, save me a lot of work

Well this is it .... so far. I was lucky enough to be given the hull and trailer and I have put the 30hp on the back for a bit of extra power. I have added the floor in now and carpeted, looking at having the cast deck put up the front to allow for storage underneath and a higher point for casting on the flats. Got a sheet of ally bent to allow for the mounting of the sounder, VHF, cabin lights for night fishing, swithboard and CD player. Speakers mounted into the front near cast deck. Next step is to put a second fuel tank at the back and cover with another deck at the back. The aim of all this is, having a boat less than 4m, every bit of open floor ara is a gift. Looking forward to hitting the water again on the weekend, also still trying to figure out how to mount a small electric motor to the bow.
Cheers Tinni
