. Timing was spot on too with the afternoon tide pushing in and after a break in the rain for the last 24 hours, some nice clean water making it's way into the system. The rain over the last week has seen a tea coloured finger of water pushing out into the ocean for nearly a kilometer. The salmon were well on the job too 
. Was great to finally wet a line after 10 days of cr.p weather. The fish aren't huge but on a little eggbeater and 8lb line the little fellas go pretty hard. Ended up catching 20+ fish, keeping half a dozen for a feed and letting the rest go. A couple of frosty Coopers and heap og sprightly sambos made for a fun afternoon. Even moreso given it was 3.00 on a workday
