Near Ballan in victoria is a place called Blackwood, its a small place but the lerdederg river flows nearby and a keen angler can walk up the river catching trout on easily caught worms and freshwater cray by hand if your willing to persist with the rock lifting!! I caught 1 there when i was a kid that came in at nearly 2kg! Its a beautiful place and camping is cheap and peaceful. Check it out!!!!!!!
