Have the tuna even made it in the harbour yet? Wind has been hanging around a lot making it hard for offshore I reckon.

Have caught quite a few this yr in the harbour. They are there but you have to work for em. Was out sight casting lone free swimmers near larrakeyah early last week on the 4lb gear! I think more will soon move into the harbour. I've never seen the harbour with soo much bait in it before!
Goodluck all!

What tuna? Couldn't find em yesterday. Went all the way to the Fentons then Lee point, East Point etc, not one bust up.

What tuna?
That's what I meant, the tuna are winning ... they are lying low, making themselves scarce, playing crafty, hard to get, thumbing their nose, giving the finger ... :catch:

got amongst a few queenies on our trip to the Perons, saw lots of small Mack Tuna but not many bigger longtails

here are a couple of the queenies we had fun catching, with a couple of good fun sessions over the couple of days

I was mainly driving the boat being the good skipper while the boys had a ball throwing poppers and stick baits around.

got a reasonable one to enter this month :-) 85cm

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!
