gomoku bait caster rods

gomoku bait caster rods
does any one know if the gomoku baitcaster rods are good at casting lures into snags and flicking plastics ...or are they just another full time jigging rod ? i would like to know as i need a new rod ...fast!

cant go past the live fibre venom series mate if you have the cash as they are a bit pricey

i think you are talking about a wilson rod? i was thinking of the white ones with the red or green or blue grips and the long buts

These are black, look like a standard baitcaster rod but pack an absolute punch, I do everything from flicking for barra in tight country, to jigging reefies and trolling up macks offshore.

Gomoku don't suit casting at all. They're designed as a dedicated jigging rod, hence the guides are a tiny diameter. Even with the smallest diameter knot like a PR or FG, they still struggle to pass through the guide at speed.

i regulary use gomoku rods. (blue and red ones)
only for jigging out in the blue.
they are a specific rod designed for jigging only. (straight up and down)
Storm do a casting range called the "mojo" rods. they are bright yellow.

a raider "soft plastic" rod would go well with that reel.
