Ski Club Boatramp. : Weather, Road Conditions & River Levels

Went for a drive at lunchtime to check out the conditions down at my local boatramp. Arrived to find the ramp is totally inaccessable due to a huge tree which has fallen across the top of the boat ramp blocking the way down.

Damn I thought, I will have to get out of the car and get wet to get a proper look at the sea. Upon closer inspection of the fallen tree I noticed there was vehicle on the wrong side of the tree. Looks like old mate backpacker chose the wrong place to park. He is totally blocked in to the beach side of the tree and has been there I believe since yesterday or wed night. To make things worse he said his van has also broken down. At least he has a bed in the back! Hope there's no freak spring tides tonight!

If he is still there tomorrow night and it is windy that van is going to be in a world of hurt. It will be rust upon the already rusting body by time it gets out.

At least he can say that he lives by the beach!
