Anyone know how the road is? Do I need to take enough gear to rebuild the trailer?
Which day and what time you setting out grumpy? I thinking of doing an overnighter probably Friday night, come back Saturday morning. Was thinking either Hotham or Bynoe? U heading out overnight or just for the day?

Went to SWA 23rd Sept. Road was pretty rough especially the centre section. Managed to sit on 80kph each end but had to slow down in the middle, just too rough.

The grades were only working up the first 10km. There is a white fence on the right hand side leading into a big property. Once they got there yesterday they turned around and headed back doing the other side of the road. Big corrugations and not many places to ease the trailer through in some of the bad areas, that's for sure.

Comming back from SWA last Saturday the road was not bad but you could see it had been a mess. It had just rained on the last 10km and was sh..ty. Typical Gunn Pt Road, only an afternoon storm and the road can turne to poop real quick.
Hope this info helps anybody making the trip.
cheers
