Headed home from shady yesterday and the talk at the ramp wasn't good with guy's saying that the road might be closed at the A'river flood plains. It was 600mm when I crossed it the day before. Its funny, I was so concerned that they would close the highway before I could go fishing I never even thought that I might not be able to get home. Anyway we made it OK, was the longest water crossing I've ever done.

yeah the reflectors are just under a metre high so can judge the road by them crossed it a few years ago on our way home from hunting was 1300mm deep had to have some one on the back with a spotlight looking for the reflectors und the water filled the car full of water but needed a wash anyways

Great shots there. Buggered if I would do that anymore – it's too expensive when things turn to poop. From the photo you can even see the centre line. Isn’t it funny how we still keep left even when there’s no chance of anyone coming the other way
