So how do you eat your waterfowls? any recipes you would like to share, i dont have much except marinate in some chilli.

Slow cooker is king.. simple maggi mixes. .like rogan josh for example. . half potatoes, onions, carrots, Snake Beans ect. .
put it on in the morning b4 work at say 8am.. by 5.30pm the meat is falling apart.. yum

yep....camp oven...slow cooker is the way to go
you have to have crack even if your just pissin in the wind

Take the silverskin off the breast and then fillet them into 3-4 thin fillets
Place some glad wrap over them and use a meat tenderising hammer to and give them a gentle work out until they are twice their size
Mariade them in your favorite marinade
Dredge them through some beaten egg and then breadcrumbs and herbs
Cook the quick until golden brown in a frypan and oil

Don't mind the slow cooked stuff, but the fun part is really over once the bird hits the water!!!

do u need a game license in the nt to shoit geese and ducks?

in vic u need a game license that involves a duck id test.

ive never shot a duck in the nt,just been lucky enough for a few to be having a heart attack as ive drivin past the dams there sitting on

Shish kebabs! With onion, cherry tomatoes, capsicum and mushroom. Marinaded in a mix of bbq sauce, worcestershire sauce and honey.

Skinned whole, butterflied, marinated and grilled over coals - finger lickin' good.

chop up into chunks make in to kababs on satay sticks fry on bbq take off when cooked and then coat in peanut paste and eat,quick and easy when out in the bush.

I went out and got a few this morning, slice across the grain into 5mm slices, marinate in chilli stir fry paste from the Asian Emporium for a day or so then stir fry with the usual veggies and some more paste. YUM.

Recipe for goose: put goose in large pot of boiling water with flat river stone, boil until stone is soft.. Then ditch the goose and eat ths stone. :naughty:
