here's a creamy garlic prawn recipe that i was shown that is easy and tastes great.
Ingredients: (serves 2)
12 Prawns
1 Shallot - finely chopped
3 Cloves garlic - crushed
3 Tablespoons Olive oil
1 Tablespoon Butter
100-150ml Cream
White wine (sorry 2-rods not red )
Salt and pepper
Directions:
*Heat heavy based fry pan over medium heat
*Pour in oil
*Add butter
*As butter starts to melt add shallot and garlic. Make sure they don't cook too quickly
*Add prawns. Should only cook for about two minutes each side, or until pink.
*Pour in glass of white wine.
*Add cream.
*Remove prawns. This will stop them going rubbery.
*Once sauce has reduced add back prawns and eat.
This is pretty good dish with rice.
Enjoy.

Re: Creamy Garlic Prawns
Mine is similar though I don't add cream. I add the wine with coconut milk powder. Works a treat

Re: Creamy Garlic Prawns
Cooked these last night using your recipe........ bl..dy beautiful. Probably one of the best I have ever tasted. I used some Jacobs creek wine I found in the fridge. Turned out perfect. I'm already keen to cook em again.
