Gday all ,
Had a great run out Fish reef way on Saturday ,Its been a while since I've been
able to sit on W.O.T all the way out past Charles Pt .
We got out to Fish rf but not much luck on my regular spots for the turn of tide ,
not even the pesky red fish and flag . So after many ,many moves I stopped on a
small lump for one last go,
First drop and Zinnnnnng I'm on and getting smoked , I looked over at the deckie
and he's bent over the side getting smoked as well , Snap ,Snap and we both got done.
I changed up leader size to 70lb , smoked again ,,WTF>!!! By the time I got the 100lb
leader on the sounder was showing nada. We had drifted off the lump so we got back
on the mark ,yep on again and still getting smoked but at least they weren't braking
leader just pulled hooks .
Finally managed to get a medium sized Jewie in and olmate is onto another horse
which was lost again ,then it all shut down ,, .
One move and finally found some gold to top up the esky . . Not a huge day fish
wise but just perfect all the same. Cheers

I Haven't fished this lump before mate , I'll be prepared next time been a long time since I've had a hot jewie bite

All good on the way home Trev , it starting coming up about 2pm but from the west .
Easy trip close to home, about time after getting smashed on the last 3 trips.
