With big tides at hand, the decision was made to head out to North Gutter chasing Spanish macs.

We hit the water before sun up in hope to get a glass off run out, but that didn't happen. After a not bad but uncomfortable run out with my 2 great friends, Cohen and Joanne[who I thank for the trip], we found fish early. There where bust ups and birds working all around us. We soon had 2 macs on board. After catching a few quenies, trav and pulling hooks on some fish, the macs where back. We had our first triple hook up for the day. 3 nice Spanish hit the deck after a little chaos! 2 smaller ones were let go because it was still early, we had hope in finding the bigger models later in the day.

We continued to get triple hook ups with a mixture of trav,queenies and macs all morning. In total we boat 14 Spanish [target species] and kept our bag limit of 6, while cleaning fish a cobia of a decent size was spotted hanging around the electric motor but was spooked easily.
The wind started to pic up around 1pm, so we pulled the pin and head home. We stopped at a bust up on the way back with no success. There was a fair bit of weed floating around as we came in line with Charles Point and Cohen saw what he believed to be a triple tail under a fair size clump, so we stopped for a flick also with no success.

All in all it was another amazing trip and the waters off the Territory, never ceases to amaze me. Thanks again to Cohen and Joanne can't wait for the next trip.
