Few good ones around lately after the big wet
Some we got on Saturday
Son Clint with a couple the pup was interested in

Yeah they are great to eat,pickled or stir fried or straight on the coals
A tip though ,try not to get nipped by them
One of the big ones got me on the tip of the finger and it was painfull but funny at the time
Wasn't so funny on Sunday night when my finger had gone to twice its normal size and started to go black
Was a trip to the hospital and laying about in there with a drip in each arm pumping some pretty serious antibiotics into me (Shaun makes a mental note to dissinfect wounded area straight away next time)
There's some serious bugs in the fresh water up here and we shouldn't become complacent with wounds we get

Much and much the same taste
I pickle them in a nummas(sp) mix or stir fry them in butter,garlic and sweet chilli

Any one know of the existetnce of red claw in the Katherine region ?
I'm thinking of Mataranka or that area , maybe Elsey conservation park but I'm not sure if yabbie pots are allowed.
After seeing those pics I'm hanging out for a feed .
