I'm heading to the Gold Coast for the son's wedding and Xmas, keen to get into a few GC bass.
Would appreciate any tips regarding places to fish and reputable guides in the area.

G'day mate, try for a session at Hinze dam (electric motors only), try Bass Bay
Most of the main dams (Samson and Wivenhoe) hold bass and the spinnerbaits are the "go" along with softies sammy65, jackalls and blitz baga.

Thanks Bobj, I'll see if I can manage some time at Hinze, I have a son who lives at Tweed and a daughter at Surfers so I guess Hinze will be the closest for me to get at.
