George Sava sent in this picture of an amazing jack he caught in Currumbin Creek on the Gold Coast.
He writes: Here's a picture of me with my first jack, caught on a live mullet in Currumbin Creek.
My girlfriend also caught her first jack the same night at the same snag.
After months of long nights all we could catch was trevallyand the odd pike on the run-in tides around the structure and we started doubting the jacks even existed.
So when we caught two in one night it smashed that theory.
My jack weighed 4.2kg and was 62cm long. We kept the big one and let the small one go. It tasted great.
It was a hard fight getting him in - it tried to snap me off more times than I can remember.
The teeth on the jack were amazing.
