Words hardly describe the feelings when sighting colour from a trophy powertail

Sweetwater PTs

Post by Dick »

Here's a few shots of the PTs that come out of Lake Kununurra.

First shot, this one took a small lure meant for a sooty grunter, lucky to land the beast on the light tackle

Second shot, big PT took little PT off the surface as it was being winched to the boat aftewr hitting the surface crawler. Savage buggers they are.

Third shot show one taken on the troll around where the last shot was taken, plenty of structure and a lot of pain and frustration for anglers as the big buggers rip you through the snags.

Big surface lures that look a bit like small crocs do the job nicely
