saw this chunky specimen corkscrewing in the shallows at the mouth of tommy cut with a small croc nosing toward it, I thought it was a big thready that'd been released and was carking it so I threw a lure it's way and tagged it in the tail...it blew a gasket rolled a million times and pinged my leader, next plan of attack was the landing net...we nosed in...poked the croc in the snout and scooped it up...I still thought it was a thready at this point...only when the net came up did I realize that I'd struck it extra lucky

That is a top fish only landed through pure tenacity. Well done! How many metre Barra are caught at Tommy and Shady each year? Heaps! Not many quality Powertail like that caught down there, they are elusive and crafty. Look at the effort you had to put in to get it. Well done!

Apparently ( told by an asain fellow, named Bob of all thIngs hahaha) that they pay Alot of money for the heads. Anyone confirm this. Next time you catch one check it out?
