Limited Options

Post by CharFin »

With Shady, Gunn point and about 130 other roads closed fishing options were limited on the weekend. If it's flooded, fair enough, if the road falls to bits because it's nothing more than fine rubbish that corregates when dry and turns to slop when wet then our road builders and bean counters need to have a look at themselves. Sending a few contractors out with a bucket of gravel is too little to late. The weather wasn't much better but did a Darwin harbour trip. Nothing went like it should . Looking a bit windy and stormy to head to Charles Point, so I fluffed around east arm. My reliable spots wernt so reliable and the fish I got were all a bit smaller than usual. Took 3 goldies for a feed that come from too deep. Threw back the little cod, snapper, moon fish, etc and a few sharks including this chunky looking leopard shark, looks different from one I got a while ago.

Heaps of boats on the adelaide heard about a 103 being the one to beat from the upstream side a few days back. The river was still in the carpark last week.
