More fish from the lake

Post by Dick »

Matt rung me up today to see if i was alive, dead or one of the undead so I thought I'd best post a pic or two (even though I don't feature). These were from yesterday out of Lake Kununurra. The fishery is just starting to hit its straps with plenty to come. These fish are a couple of years old, the best of their predecessors stocked earlier are over a metre at the moment.

Was an awesome location and perfect scenery for trolling around for a day. Loved that part of the world and can't wait to get back there to fish it more as I have some nice spots marked on the GPS. Have you been doing the night trolling for the 1m+ fish still Dick?

Yeah 17 since July above the metre, biggest 118 but my son pipped me with a 120 about a month ago. Looks like my run of them is on the wane as they've started to disperse since early October. Snooping around the top lake now.

Looks like a top spot to fish. Are the fish good to eat, or muddy flavour?

And good to hear you are not walking with the undead :D

Dunno never et one Matt so not sure on the flesh quality. Plenty of tomato sauce would solve any quality problems
