Not good to hear there where no fish - but - it does make me feel better about fishing all nigh on Saturday for 1 Snapper....Started at South and hit up a few Bynoe spots. Tough fishing. Plenty of sharks.
Great conditions, nothing on the sounder. Any ideas why?

Nice cloud pic jeff

Can't complain too much about the weather, even if the fish weren't playing the game

Good pics, love going for a walk on those sandbars in Bynoe :-)
If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

I went to Bass on Friday night for an overnighter, and thought I was hard done by with only three decent Goldies (up to 50cm) in the box....

The best part is just being out there, the fish are a bonus. (and keep the wife happy)

Chunky I would not normally fish a neap with such little movement . I reakon the bait spreeds out further .
With more of run they tend to hang closer to structure or reefs. Prefer a 3 to 5mt run out that way.

C'mon Jeff, you can't have flat water, perfect weather and fish............. be nice but. :fishing:

Guess when even the clouds are bending you over you just got to suck it up. Look on the bright side, would've been plenty of time for drinking

Looks like a nice day on the water.
Just a side note, you cant land on Simms Reef amongst other place we used to land on due to the Kenbi Land claim. I have attached the map link from the paper the other day

http://www.nlc.org.au/files/various/Ken ... on_Map.pdf

There are a few spots that are well frequented that are now no go zones, dunno who is going to enforce it but thought I would just let you all know.
Fish stories told here....some true !!!

When in doubt...exaggerate !!

Wait what? No anchoring? this includes all the reefs out the front of talc head, like Stevens rock and Platter rock.
