Anyway, the trip out was ok. Rough in the harbour but as time went on I was able to power up gradually and stay on the plane. And the wind did drop off during the night for perfect fishing conditions. We nabbed a couple of big trickys before night fall and just after dark a couple of small Jewfish but goldies remained elusive. But at around 9pm I finally found them and we bagged out in 20mins. No biggies but smallest went 45cm and a couple went 60cm. I took the 3 smallest at 45, 48 and 54. So we stopped fishing and sat back with a few cold beverages
We also met up with Jeffish which was always a pleasure. In the morning we shot out to the pinnacles to find a spanyard. Lost a small one but most of that area seemed bare which I was surprised about
We then bashed into the slop all the way home
