Awesome haul mate
Na mate I never put extra weight on them i reckon it stuffs the action. We were using 30g one tried with 20g but it was near impossible with the Spring tides. Sometimes it was running to hard for vibes so I went to 60g jigs but the mackerel kept snipping me of wich was giving me the s...ts. Mainly just fished from 12-16m no deeper than that. We just drifting over patches I was sounding up. Woulda made it near impossible if we were anchored trying to fish the spots in the big run
Cheers for the tips mate, do you cast them and bounce them back, or just jig them on the drift? I have tried with soft vibes, but never had too much luck, but they seem to get. Much better quality fish than bait.

The past is history, the future is mystery, the moment is a gift and that's why it's called the present
