Salmon and barra
We headed out today for a short day trip closer to home, due the wind and doubts over the ability to launch at Dundee Beach changing my initial plans. With good tides the plan was to chase some barra and salmon on lures and livebaiting. Ended up with a couple of smaller specimens of each, with a nice 70+cm barra released early at the side of the boat. The bycatch from casting the coastal rocks included heaps of smaller trevally, queenies and what I think was a large slatey bream however, looked more perch like. Anyway, good fun day out and now to plan the next trip.
