Finniss r walkers fjord
Headed out to the upper Finniss you can now get in there by 4wd. To the Walkers fjord area up as far as u can get by boat.
Got 15 around the rapids only 2 of our barras were over 90cm unlike the first trip on the quads when the biggest was 115.
All on countdown rapalas in gold.
Get out there before the cold weather hits or miss out....
Saw a few pigs on the way out at night with a couple of crackers in amongst them.

Head up as far as u can go in yr 12ft tinny n don't run over the last few hectic rockbars until you can't go any further. Or google maps it n drive in so that yr car doesn't get f.....d up at the finniss ramp by the local thieves.

We went in from the Finniss freshwater ramp the other week, turn left just before the ramp and follow track for about 30km. When you get over the rocky pass and come to 3 way, go right. Nice place, thanks for the prior info goldfish.

Re: Finniss r walkers fjord
that's the way.
just go to freshwater Finniss then follow the goat track to the left.
went camping there last long weekend just gone.
there were a couple of groups of people camping there.
its a bit of a dusty goat track, with tight areas between trees in places, and for some reason was a fair bit of water around on the track.
was no water the week before when we went there for a day trip.
few boggy sections to watch out for.
the spot fishes well - but only when there is flooding in the area. (needed to be there 7 months ago if you wanted the good fishing.)
the creek will be knee deep at the camp. (people were swimming in it last weekend - no fishing)
