Bynoe fun with nephew
Got back from o/s early Tuesday morning and needed a fishing fix.
so got the nephew and kids to help pack the boat and after a morning nap headed off to Bynoe around 3.30pm from Dinah Beach.
it was a pretty good cruising down there past Charles point, and we caught a heap of Javelin fish and redfish, as well as some good sized Spanish Flag, a couple of nice cod
and a few sharks, unfortunately the Goldies were absent, however the nephew Murchison managed to get a good sized nice fat Jewfish over a metre
he was pretty happy with that to be able to take some fish home to Perth for dad. the plan was to stay overnight, and come back Wednesday, however, after listening to the evening forecast I made the decision to come back that evening
the Quicksilver handled the easterly chop well cruising along around 9-12knots, a bit slower than getting there, however I was glad when I got up Wednesday that we had come back as it was blowing a gale
we got up and cleaned the boat and fixed up the fish and had a great meal of deep fried Cod, Spanish Flag, Javelin Fish and a bit of Jew to make enough to feed the extended family, it was yum.
Another great quick trip for a feed, and the boys had a ball pulling in a fish with every drop

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!
Especially when you can see them!

Sorry for the late reply everyone, been a bit busy fishing
Yeah was pretty glad I decided to head home that night and not hang around for the next change of tide with the kids, I managed to hear the forecast on the radio
and it had changed slightly so we took off, everyone had caught a few anyway by then and we had a pretty good feed
was pretty happy with himself.

yeah Edo, he dropped his line to the bottom and bang he was on, right on a ledge where we've caught a few before, pity we didn't get a couple more that night, it gave him curry, had to chase it around the boat a bitEdo wrote:The Jewie would have givin the young fella a good challenge, nice work mate.

Ha Ha, don't worry, I have spent lots of years fishing and there are plenty of times I have gone out and not caught any, doesn't seem to happen much any more though, but put in a bit of time learning different areasFinatic2 wrote:You are living the dream, very jealous how often you get out and amongst them
Hey jabsy, we fished out near the mouth of Bynoe, I have a few patches there where you quite often get some good fish, Goldies and Jew.jabsy wrote:Nice trip again Dennis, did you fish inside Bynoe or stay out the front?
yeah Matt, they have been getting bigger over the years too, like the Tarpon around the place, its good to see, not bad on the chew eitherMatt Flynn wrote:Looks like a great trip, some of those grunter are better than average.
