Re: Head torches
I have been using a SEO 7R Led Lenser on a daily basis for the past 6 months. Light, rechargeable and good battery life. Big Tick!

Buy 10 at $25 each
Includes Qty 2 X 18650 batteries and charger.
I have used the "Brand" headlamps and they last as long as the cheapies. Check out the link below or gust look on Ebay for cree zoomable headlamp. Make sure you also get the batteries and charger as well as free delivery.

Re: Head torches
I got a H14 Led Lenser rechargeable, mine is out of warranty and the fellas at Craig's sent it back to Led Lenser, they put a new switch in it and sent it back at NO cost! Great service.
I'd check out the new models though, they make them lighter and just as bright now.

Re: Head torches
For that sort of money forget led lenser they are cheap rubbish. These lights are good, I use their lights for MTB racing and they are tough. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

Re: Head torches
I've never spent more than $30 on a head torch , I'm with Swoffa the cheapies do just as good.
I bought 3 clip on cap lights from IOBM @ 6.95 2 years ago and still going strong.

Ditto - I like stuff I can crush in the car door/sit on/step on/drop overboard/kids can wreck/have stolen ... without having a breakdown over it.
I've got an LED unit similar to a Lenser on my .22 and it's got more range than the rifle.

Re: Head torches
Speaking of torches, has anyone bought one of the units from the "These Military Grade Flashlights Should be Banned" ads?

Re: Head torches
Been using a Storm Black Diamond for about 4 years now for hunting and fishing and has lasted the longest for me .Had all of the LED Lensar and they all gave up after a while and got sick of taking them back for replacement

Re: Head torches
There are a lot of fake LED Lensers being sold, perhaps they are the problem?
