Berry Springs oscar

Post by Matt Flynn »

Shaggs reported a possible oscar (feral fish) sighting at Berry Springs. The NT aquatic biosecurity team are keen to know if anyone else has seen an oscar or other feral fish out there, call David Wilson on 08 8999 2083 or 0413 381 094. They are keen to talk to the original poster for details.

Also keen that people give away their oscars to friends with fish tanks and not release them into the wild.

Yep had a talk with David Matt and he's going to sort it out
I wasn't seeing things as they had another report from a tourist today
It's got me stuffed why people have got to put our fisheries and waterways at risk by introducing foreign fish
