Bluebone

Post by Skippadman »

We decided to head offshore today in search of some table fish. Had a great day out landing 4 nice bluebone, some trout and goldies. Also caught the usual hordes of trevally and smaller mackies, with a couple of tuna thrown in. The weather wasn't as forecasted so we battled chop/swell for the day but in the end, drank plenty of beers with good mates whilst catching some fish!

Nice haul, that water looks way lumpier than the forecast!

Yeah - we headed out of Buff Creek mid morning up the back of Hope Inlet spew'n that we had changed the plan to go offshore & overnight at Tiwi Islands the water was so good.

Congratulated ourselves on the decision a few hours later when the wind picked up .....
