Okay,

Here's a few quick photos of our new baby. I will take more when we get her home Monday. And yes, 12 year old just loves getting his photo taken

Nice rig Saltboy. I've had a few boats in my time but my McLay (5.85 CC) has been my favourite which I've now had for 14 years. Three motors later I've have not had a single problem with it. Even after living in the Torres Strait for 11 years, the windiest place in the world, where I have seen just about every other manufacture break welds or loose shape from the pounding, my McLay stood the test of time. I don't know if they still construct them like mine but if they do I think you'll be very happy.

Thanks mate!

So who are you buying through if you don't mind me asking?

I tell you what, those Kiwi's know how to make a good boat don't they! Stabicraft, Surtee's, Mclay all quality stuff at a competitive price.

Guys

Just another thing on what sold the Mclay to me was that it only draws around 300mm for a 5.5m boat. This appeals to me greatly with getting up into creeks, rivers etc one of our loves. I dare say this would appeal very much to you NT guys as well. For me I see it as my perfect boat for complete fishing, estuary and offshore.
